15 Hours Universal Offer - All 3 and 4 year old's

All 3 and 4-year-old's (starting the term after a child's third birthday) in England are entitled to 570 hours of free early education or childcare a year. This is often taken as 15 hours each week for 38 weeks of the year. Some 2-year-old's are also eligible.

All 3 and 4 year old children can have up to 15 hours of free childcare each week for 38 weeks a year. Some childcare providers offer fewer hours per week (12 hours) over more weeks a year (48 weeks) providing up to 570 hours

This is a national scheme every child in England is entitled to. Childcare providers can choose how they wish to offer FEE

30 hours (extended) free childcare eligible 3 and 4 year old's

The Government has extended the free early education and childcare entitlement for eligible 3 and 4 year old's from 15 hours to 30 hours a week, 1140 hours of free childcare in total. You may be able to ‘stretch’ your childcare hours across more weeks by taking fewer hours, for example, over 48 or 50 weeks.

15 hours free early education for eligible 2 year old's

Free early education for 2 year olds is known in Kent as the Free for 2 or FF2 Scheme. We have a duty to provide eligible 2 year old's upto 570 hours of Free Early education a year over 38 weeks of the year or 12 hours over 48 weeks of the year.

More Information regarding eligibility for 30 hours and FF2 childcare is available on request or direct from Government website

Additional costs you may have to pay for
