Our childcare team are proud to be part of the new developing Learning Tree Preschool and are committed to providing the highest quality of care and development for your child.

Owned and led by a qualified, experienced registered practitioner of 25 years and worked for the Local Authority as an Early Years and Childcare adviser and qualified assessor and trainer, the team is provided with integral support and inspiration, driven with challenge and motivation to deliver a premium and quality experience. 

Robust recruitment procedures ensure suitable choices to develop and retain the very best people who excel at Childcare and commit to continuous professional development and training. All practitioners are qualified and/or working towards a qualification in Early Years and Childcare, hold a DBS (police check), are first aid trained in peadiatrics, completed statutory requirements in Safeguarding child protection including Chanel - Prevent (terrorism), Female genital mutilation (FGM) and Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and an awareness of Health and Safety and Risk Assessment.

Our Manager is a skilled, qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioner with energy, determination and vision, responsible for maintaining high standards, the smooth and efficient day to day running of the pre school and the lead and supervision of the team. 

Supported by o ur Deputy Manager, a skilled and qualified Early Years Practitioner, with an abundance of energy and enthusiasm who assists  t he Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the preschool and works together to manage the childcare team and ensure that EYFS is used effectively policies and procedures are followed.

Our qualified level 2 and 3 childcare practitioners have similar roles, assisting in the running of pre school and the daily programme of stimulating and educational activities. They are a point of contact to families with regards to children’s planning and progress and play a key role in the children’s daily care and development. Our level 3 practitioners have the additional knowledge and experience to be able to support in a supervision role and take on extra lead responsibilities. 

Apprenticeships

Supporting workforce development, opportunities are available for Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeship in Children’s and Young Peoples Workforce. Our apprentices work within the childcare team, they are mentored in all areas of nursery life and receive bespoke training and experience of current childcare practice in order to start a fulfilling career in childcare.
