Welcome to all our new parents/carers & children we hope you enjoy your time spent with us at The Learning Tree and for existing parents “nice to see you back”- we hope you all had a good Summer!!!
Firstly there is a lot to explain so if we miss something and you are unsure please ask one of us, we ALWAYS try to make ourselves available during any part of the day and as we cannot hold a parent’s evening we will always spare the time to discuss your child’s development with you.
Key worker most larger Nurseries /pre-schools work to a system whereby a child is assigned one adult so that they bond & work closely with that person during their time at a setting but as there is only the two of us we do have a list of children each but we do everything together this way our children know us both and we find this works well at The Learning Tree as we are such an intimate pre school-we do pride ourselves that we have such a strong connection with ALL our children(& parents/carers)
Planning as you will see from our Parent’s information table we do work to a broad plan (which is connected to the Early Years Foundation Stage document) but we incorporate the children’s interests into this, so if there is anything your child has a particular interest in please let us know or use the suggestions box and we will try to plan something for them.
This half term’s themes will be-
