The idea for The Learning Tree Pre-school
was developed some time ago we (Lyn & Sue) decided there
was a great need for such a facility in the Muxton community
so we contacted the local authorities!!
Many months, and grey hairs later we have finally achieved
our ambitions. We hope to provide a friendly, happy environment
for your child to enjoy the first years of their educational
life.
Lyn
Lyn is married with 3 children and has
worked within childcare for several years. Before this venture,
worked at Muxton Primary School as a qualified teaching
assistant.
Sue
Sue has a teenage daughter and has worked
as a Nursery assistant where she gained her qualifications.
Previous to this she was the cook at Muxton Primary School
for 5 and a half years.
The government now provides funding towards
childcare for all 3 & 4 year olds. This enables children
to attend Nursery/Pre-school for 5 x 2 and a half hour educational
sessions per week.
We are registered with the Local Education
Authority to provide these places dependant on the relevant
checks.
Half term Break up Fri 11th Feb return Mon 21st Feb
Easter Break up Thurs 24 th March return Mon 1 1th April
Mayday Mon 2nd May
Whit Break up Fri 27 th May return Mon 6th June
Summer holiday Break up Fri 22nd July return date to be advised
